I tend to teach from textbooks and revision guides (I find CGP books very helpful), I also teach from self-made PowerPoints when I feel it is necessary. I believe it is critical to not only teach the knowledge, but also to ensure it is consolidated and therefore I supply regular exercises and past papers in order to confirm that the students have grasped taught concepts.
I am a final year Bsc Mathematics student who has been tutoring students in maths for 3years, all of which have succeeded in achieving what they wanted from the experience, namely they have all achieved A*-C in their GCSE mathematics.

Alongside my A-Levels, I voluntarily tutored GCSE students for their maths exams, giving up my own time to assist students who were really struggling in school in successfully passing their exams. This was not just a test of my knowledge and teaching ability but also my ability to support and help others without compromising the professional relationship. I have since been tutoring throughout my degree.
