About Fernando
I am passionate about teaching the reasoning behind facts. I understand that theory is fundamental, but I enjoy cultivating and encouraging curiosity in my students, as curiosity is essential for generating motivation to learn more and for helping them stop seeing science as something that must be memorised, and instead as something that can be applied to everyday life. Beyond that, I am committed to developing my students’ critical thinking skills.

My lessons focus on understanding the logic behind each concept rather than overwhelming students with excessive theory. While theory is important, I prioritise deep comprehension so ideas are retained long-term. I strongly believe in learning through practice, using real examples and exercises to reinforce concepts. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. My lessons are ideal for students and professionals who want to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
