About Phyllis

A native speaker of English, I went to international school in Hong Kong before entering boarding school in the UK at the age of 13. After taking my GCSEs and A-levels I went on to study History at Cambridge. By far the skills that have equipped me best for this came from studying literature; reading and writing effectively is a crucial skill for students of any subject.

About the lesson

Focusing on the key skills and objectives of the examination mark scheme, lessons will be aimed towards improving language capacity generally alongside intensive exam preparation. If the student has a more open-ended objective we will work together to set out a plan with goals for what they want to achieve.
