About Shumaila
As a master’s in chemistry, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With experience working at both the elementary and high school levels, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer. My first classroom teaching experience was during college when I served as a volunteer elementary teacher at an academy for one year. In addition, I worked for online institutes and academies as well. I have teaching experience of almost 7 years. During these in-service experiences, I particularly enjoyed working with at-risk children. My careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that my young students could grasp, which was rewarding for both my students and for me.

Chemistry is known as a tough subject and the majority of students fear that they will fail this subject. I use different online activities as well as demonstrations of different experiments to make this subject interesting and approachable for students. I have teaching experience of almost 7 years, length of lesson will be one hour. I use contact whiteboard or zoom board for teaching.
