About Lauren
Welcome to my classroom! I am so glad to have you. My name is Ms. John and I have taught in Wyoming, Florida, and Italy. In 6 years, I've taught all grade levels of elementary (through 7th grade), in multi-grade level and English as a Second Language settings, helping nearly 300 students reach proficiency and beyond! My teaching methodologies change based on the needs of my students, however the most effective methods are based in Constructivist approaches (learning through experience and doing). Because of that, my lessons typically involve a short mini-lesson based on what you need and then guided practice until you're able to do it independently.
