My son used to be in a hybrid group tuition classes about 2 years for lower secondary Science before we decided to find a personal tutor with the hope that he could improve his understandings in Science (which he may find quite hard and boring and lack of focus), to boost his grades, and confidence too. We’ve been searching high and low for a suitable tutor to teach my son Y9 Edexcel Science since August25. Had trial classes with a few shortlisted tutors in September…then finally agreed to have Ms Saniya as his tutor until now as she’s by far the best that we’ve tried. What sets her apart from other tutors are the lessons always personalized, engaging and interactive, not just one-side communication, with lots of quizzes, Q&A sessions to ensure my son understands the topics well. She is always ready and well prepared to tutor for every online lessons with her materials and extensive knowledge in the curriculum. We could see the improvement from his Science test results in school, from just average 50-55% when he was in Y8, to 60% (test 1) and 76 % (test 2) in term 1 of Y9, within 2 months of tutoring under Ms Saniya with once a week average lesson per week. Another major improvement that I could witness in my son, he would revise before his lessons with Ms Saniya as she always conducts quizzes so he needs to be prepared before his lessons. She usually tried accommodating to my request especially when my son had test coming up and needed extra preparation. I’m positively hopeful under Ms Saniya teaching and guidance, my son would improve constantly towards the end of his Y9 up until his IGCSE in Y11 exams.
