About Joseph
I have 14 years of experience teaching math in WV schools, and my teaching license is current. Sometimes learning a new concept takes extra time to learn. A typical class period runs from 40 to 50 minutes, and with all the distractions that go on in school, learning doesn't always happen in those 40-50 minutes. In college, instructors may not always have time to take questions during lecture, or their answers may not be clear to you. This is where tutoring comes into play. I will work with you to help you make connections about the math.

I will patiently work with you to help you understand mathematical concepts and provide strategies to try. Bridging the gap between what the student already knows and what the student needs to know is key for future success. I tutor middle school math, Algebra I, geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Precalculus.

I can come to your home, but parent or guardian MUST be at home during the tutoring session. We can connect online via Microsoft Teams, or we can go to a library to conduct the tutoring session.
