About Grover
I have taught grades 6th- 8th for a period of 15 years and have worked numerous hours in after school tutoring. In addition to teaching native born Americans, I have also taught English to Japanese students while assigned to the Air Force at Misawa Air Base, Japan. My class sizes have averaged from 20-25 students and many of my students have gone on and graduated from college with specialized degrees.

I am a middle school teacher with over 15 years experience in the classroom teaching all subjects such as math, science, history, and English. I possess a bachelors degree in biology and a masters degree in education and am a current certified special education teacher in addition to being a regular teacher. I emphasize using the Bloom's system of taxonomy in instructing my students and put emphasis on putting emphasis on the learning styles of students (audio, kinesthestic, visual ) approach to learning. I finally feel that in teaching, the instructor should make teaching not only fun but applicable to everyday living.
