About Ruby
I have 15 years of combined teaching and tutoring experience. In high school and college, I tutored my peers in biology and chemistry. In college, I worked at the college's tutoring center and was assigned to tutor general chemistry. Since graduating with my B.A. in Biology withteacher certification, I have taught biology and tutored math and science.

I have a degree in Biology with teacher certification. I have experience as a chemistry tutor, as well as tutoring math and teaching biology classes.
In my tutoring sessions, I like to use leading questions to help guide the student to be able to answer the question themselves. While my help may be needed more on the early question, by the end of the session, my goal is for students to be able to solve the problems themselves with confidence.
