Working individually with students taught me how to recognize and adapt to different learning styles. For students who learn best through visualization, I construct my own 3D models to help clarify challenging concepts. For students who prefer to learn through practice, I design ability-appropriate practice problems and guide them through applying new concepts step-by-step to these practice problems. I am also confident in adapting to different teaching methods and adjusted curricula; if students were taught differently than how I learned, I quickly adjust, learn new concepts myself, and help them succeed within their curriculums.
I tutor math from middle school to college-level Calculus III, including Precalculus, Geometry, and AP Calculus AB and BC. I also tutor chemistry from high school to college-level General Chemistry II and Organic Chemistry II.
