About Dana
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about the interactions and transformations of substances. I earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, specializing in organic chemistry, analytical techniques, and laboratory skills. Over eleven years, I have taught students at all levels, integrating conceptual understanding with practical experimentation to build competence and confidence. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons are tailored to individual learning styles, emphasizing comprehension, hands-on experience, and critical reasoning. I encourage curiosity, experimentation, and analytical thinking. I engage in research, workshops, and professional development to stay current. Chemistry is not just a profession—it is a passion that allows me to inspire students to think critically, investigate deeply, and apply knowledge creatively. Beginners explore atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and the periodic table. Intermediate learners study stoichiometry, thermochemistry, acids and bases, and kinetics. Advanced students tackle organic reactions, spectroscopy, equilibrium, and advanced laboratory techniques. Lessons include exercises, lab experiments, and exam-focused preparation, along with structured guidance for assignments and projects.
Chemistry develops analytical reasoning, precision, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. Students leave lessons able to design experiments, interpret results, and apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges.
