I have taught a wide variety of people over the past few years, from relative beginners to advanced-level students, at all ages. I adapt my teaching style for the individual needs for each student, implementing several revision techniques I employed to my own studies.
Having taught some of the keenest minds in the world at the Universities of Oxford and London and also struggling school students, (as well as struggling University students and bright-as-buttons schoolchildren!), I believe it is absolutely essential to tailor the teaching style to the requirements of the individual. Pupils have hugely varying aptitudes for different parts of a syllabus.
As a tutor in Chemistry, I will strive to achieve my mission by tailoring my teaching methods and the study materials for students specifically to meet the high international standard for each of their respective courses and level of study as recommended by their university or school board.
I am laid back and patient, but I have a way of explaining difficult concepts in a simple way. Especially since engineering concepts can be difficult, I have found breaking things down into small and logical areas is the best way.
I find the best approach to learning is by answering past exam questions (as this is what you are ultimate;y assessed on!) then marking them and critically analysing your answers to work out what is good and what can be improved.

I will read through the problem with the student, and demonstrate concepts in simple to understand terms, and run through examples to see how comfortable the student is with what has been shown and to allow the student to see their own competence
I teach based on how I learned as a student, with visual aids, videos and past papers. Multiple questions in a specific topic helps memorise the correct answer and varying the difficulty will show if the learner understands it.
It's simple. I believe that a sequence and consistency should be followed while explaining things, simple things are better so I always try to make complicated stuff easy to explain and to be understood by giving examples of practical application of the material under discussion. I will be helpful to guide about examinations as i have appeared and passed a lot of short courses during career.
