About Fathima
Hi everyone, I’m Fathima Nidha and I’ll be your biology teacher this year. But I don’t want you to see me just as a teacher. I’m someone who genuinely loves learning—and I believe learning should never be boring or scary. I’ve studied B.Sc. Chemistry, and I’ve spent time not just learning facts, but understanding how to make them come alive in class. I believe every student has potential—yes, every single one of you. And part of my job here is to help you discover it, grow it, and feel proud of it. I also want to learn from you—your perspectives, your questions, your thoughts. That’s what makes a class different: when it’s ours, not just mine. I might challenge you sometimes, I might expect a lot—but I’ll also be right here to guide and support you. So let’s make a deal: You bring your curiosity, and I’ll bring mine. Together, we’ll make this class something special.

You’ve probably sat through many classes—some you liked, some you didn’t. You’ve heard teachers say, ‘This class is important,’ or, ‘This exam is necessary.’ And yes, those things are true.
But I want to promise you something different. This class will not be about memorizing for the sake of marks alone. It’s going to be about understanding, questioning, exploring, and connecting.
Here, you are not just students—I see you as thinkers, learners, and people with ideas that matter.
I won’t just be giving lectures. You’ll be involved—through discussions, real-world examples, and creative tasks that challenge the way you think. I want this class to help you grow, not just in knowledge, but in confidence and curiosity.
And I want you to hold me accountable too—if you ever feel this class is becoming ‘just like the others,’ you can tell me.
