About Landon
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how different substances interact and change in everyday life. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s in Inorganic Chemistry, where I developed a deeper understanding of chemical structures and reactions. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them build confidence and clarity in chemistry. Teaching has become a very important part of my journey because I enjoy guiding students toward success.
My teaching style is based on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach to match their pace and level of understanding. I break down complex topics into simple steps and use examples, diagrams, and practice exercises to make learning easier and more engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and build their own understanding of concepts.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new developments in chemistry and improving my teaching methods. This helps me keep my lessons updated and useful for students. Teaching chemistry gives me great satisfaction because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them build strong knowledge, gain confidence, and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication, patience, and genuine passion for learning.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make learning clear, engaging, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with basic concepts such as atomic structure, bonding, and periodic trends, explaining each idea step by step in a simple way. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind reactions instead of just memorizing facts. I use relatable real-life examples so students can connect chemistry with everyday experiences. This makes learning more meaningful and helps students feel more comfortable with the subject. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and exploring ideas freely.
As students gain confidence, I introduce more advanced topics such as chemical reactions, equilibrium, acids and bases, and organic chemistry basics. I guide them through structured problem-solving methods that help them apply concepts clearly and correctly. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and understanding. I also spend time reviewing mistakes carefully so students can learn from them and improve step by step. Each lesson is designed to build strong understanding and steady progress over time.
Chemistry becomes much easier and more enjoyable when students start understanding how concepts are connected. Over time, students develop confidence and begin solving problems more independently. Many learners who once found chemistry difficult start to feel more relaxed and interested in the subject. My goal is to help students build strong knowledge, improve their analytical thinking, and develop the confidence to apply chemistry in exams, practical situations, and future learning with clarity and confidence.
