Project Title: “Computational studies of radionuclide uptake by mineral surfaces at the atomic scale”.
The project was focused on investigating the adsorption interaction of actinide species (U, Np) on mineral surfaces such as goethite and calcite, using Quantum Chemistry Software and Density-Functional Theory.

Worked as a GTA for 2nd year undergraduate students in the measurements teaching laboratory. My duties included demonstration of the experimental procedure, monitoring the students while they are working and ensure their safety, marking their skills, work and data produced.
