About Tess
I am a chemistry tutor with 10 years of experience and a PhD in Chemical Sciences. My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and change. Over the years, I have worked with many students, helping them build strong understanding and confidence. My goal is to make chemistry simple, clear, and interesting for every learner.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I break down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand easily. I use practical examples and guided practice to support learning. I also adapt my lessons to match each student’s needs and pace, ensuring steady improvement. Helping learners build confidence and strong problem-solving skills is always my priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about new developments in chemistry and exploring practical applications. This helps me bring better insights into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin to solve problems independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop a strong understanding of chemistry is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience and clarity.
