Chemistry University Student offering Chemistry, Maths, and Physics tutoring up to University level in St Andrews (also available online). Most recently completed IB.
Methodology
I would at first ask the student what the feel they struggle with the most in the subject area and then build a methodology that would suit them. I would then start the lesson with an overview/definition of the topic they do not understand or want consolidation on and then ensure they understand it by asking the simple questions such as fill in the blank definitions. I would then move on to examples of questions in possible exam papers, in increasing difficulties, making note of their strengths and weaknesses in answering, and move on accordingly to strengthen areas where more mistakes are made.
Experience
I am a current undergraduate student studying for my integrated masters (MChem) in chemistry. I extremely passionate about chemistry and other STEM subjects (particularly maths and physics) and have had previous experience tutoring both those students at my level and below. I love these subjects and hope to help others love and understand them also.
