About Alexandra
My name is Alexandra, an empathetic, organized tutor who believes calm structure and genuine encouragement help students do their best work. I bring an MSc in Clinical Psychology and formal psychometrics training, so my guidance is grounded in evidence. I’ve supported people in high-pressure environments with the UN and in airlines, delivering psychological first aid, debriefings, and well-being programs, experience that taught me to be clear, compassionate, and practical. I’ve conducted assessments, written reports, and delivered interventions with strong ethical standards. I’m culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and used to working with diverse learners including multilingual students (English, Afrikaans, German). You can expect transparent goals, steady feedback, and a warm, professional atmosphere where questions are welcome and progress is measured. Hi, I’m Alexandra.
Every learner is different, so we start with a friendly diagnostic session to clarify goals, syllabus demands, strengths, and learning preferences. From there, I design a personalised plan using evidence-based study techniques (active recall, spaced practice), clear concept teaching, and plenty of guided practice with feedback. Sessions blend skills coaching (note taking, exam strategy, APA/academic writing) and, when helpful, psychology informed tools for focus, confidence, and stress management. Lessons run 45, 60, or 90 minutes and can be in-person in the UAE or online.
I bring an MSc in Clinical Psychology, BPS-accredited psychometrics training, undergraduates in Law, English and Psychology to help you learn smarter and measure progress.
I’ve supported wellbeing and performance in high-pressure settings with the United Nations, at Emirates Airlines and trained as an Assistant Psychologist, experience that makes my classes structured, calm, and culturally sensitive.
My lessons are for undergraduates, postgraduates, and professionals seeking psychometric literacy, resilience, or communication skills.
