About Catherine
I have been drawing 13 years, taking lesson from multiple art schools, private and public. I currently am working towards my BFA at SAIC and will pursue the career professionally. With my many years of dedicated passion and also being able to experience art making from many different people and styles, I will be open minded in teaching style, catering to the student’s individual learning curve and style.

Flexible schedule and teaching style. I prefer to get to know my students first, and we can work together to develop a system that works. Courses can be very specialized according to what students want to learn, general or specifics.
Trial Class available for free! We can discuss what you are looking for before trial.
I care a lot about the learning process, and having a personable and comfortable teaching style allows students to feel confident in asking questions and learning.
I value communication. The basics and techniques will be implemented, but I think creative freedom, especially in art, is the most important. I believe in improving through what the student likes.
