About Karol

Hi. I'm Karol.
I’ve earned BA and MAT degrees in Mathematics, as well as a California Single Subject (Math) teaching credential. I have over twenty years of combined experience teaching various levels of math at the high school and college/university levels.
I have a relaxed style along with the ability to identify math gaps and break down challenging math concepts so that students can easily understand them. I’m confident I can help you or your child learn the necessary math skills to succeed in mathematics!

About the lesson

I specialize in tutoring college, university, and high school math students in the following courses: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Logic, and Quantitative Skills and Reasoning.
It is helpful for students to provide me with specific math concepts, homework problems, exam info, or questions that they have so that I can tailor my tutoring lesson to match my students' individual needs.
I have BA and MAT degrees in Mathematics, as well as a California Single Subject (Math) teaching credential. With over twenty years of combined experience teaching math at the high school and college/university levels, I am able to quickly identify students' underlying math gaps affecting current learning. By focusing on building students' past math skills as well as learning the current material, students often only require 1-3 tutoring lessons with me to gain the math knowledge and confidence to successfully handle their math class independently.
