College professor with graduate degrees in philosophy, Christian theology and ethics (seminary degree), and business (entrepreneurship and small business management). Tutoring and assistance available in these disciplines.
Specialized work in spiritual formation, and spiritual abuse recovery also available.
I utilize various methodologies to facilitate education given the unique circumstances of each student.
Generally, philosophy will lean towards tutorial or Socratic methodologies, theology will focus heavily on research and reading as the basis for discussion and theological reflection, business or entrepreneurship will be heavily practical, and spiritual formation will revolve around a spiritual discipline curriculum.
Spiritual abuse recovery is a pastoral approach to recovery. I have been through significant spiritual abuse myself. You won't get a bunch of platitudes or "just get over it" type advice. The work includes spiritual disciplines, paired with theological discussion, the separation of abusive theology from true theology, and the reading and discussion of key resources for understanding the process.
