About Leoni
I have never done professional or paid tutoring before, but I have worked on helping improve grades of friends or family friends. All together I have tutored 8 people who's grades have had an exponential rise since working with me. Many increasing from D grade to B/A grade work.

I am a college student willing to help primary and secondary school students in learning how to analyse and write about texts for SATs. Secondary exams or GCSE level work.
To start my my lessons I would briefly go over a subject in which the student says they struggle on. I would then go over a text, and analyse the text with them, putting ideas together to help the student think outside of the box and take a different spin on the way they look at things.
After this, I will give them a suitable exam style question and give them an appropriate amount of time so that they can learn time management in exams.
To end the lesson I would ask the student what they did and didn't like about the lesson to improve how we can go over subjects. I would ask them if there is anything they would like to focus on in our next lesson to ensure confidence in all subjects.
My methods are different with each student as I like to find a style which works for each individual and helps them thrive in their writing.
