1. I believe every student has a different internal method of grasping concepts, so my first focus is on understanding that system.
2. Along with understanding individual needs, I like to make sure I teach them and provide proper flashcards and notes and maybe even some tricks to prepare for the trickiest concept.
3. I like to also have a separate hour where I can take all the doubts a student might have.
4. I believe that the education system here in Canada is such that it requires more revision of the same concepts over and over again, hence repetitive small tests to keep topics fresh in their mind.
5. My lessons would be for students from middle school to high school.
