• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I teach school subjects from class 1st to class 10th and my favourite subject for teaching is mathematics and social science. My interest in this field developed during my school years and also in my 2nd year of college when I realized how powerful knowledge can be in shaping confidence and problem-solving abilities. I always enjoyed understanding concepts deeply and helping classmates learn them in a simpler way. Over time, this passion naturally turned into teaching.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My biggest motivation is the impact a teacher can have on a student’s life. I have personally learned from teachers who made difficult subjects feel simple and enjoyable, and that inspired me to do the same for others. I believe teaching is not only about academics but also about encouraging students to believe in themselves and improve continuously.

• How does your work help society?

  Teaching helps build knowledge, confidence, and opportunities for students. By helping students understand concepts clearly and develop skills, I contribute in a small way toward creating a more educated and capable society. I also try to make learning practical and engaging so students can apply their knowledge in real life.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  One of my role models is Marie Curie because of her dedication, discipline, and passion for learning. Despite many challenges, she remained committed to education and scientific discovery, which inspires me to stay curious and hardworking in my own teaching journey. I admire how she believed in the power of knowledge and used her work to contribute to society, which is something I also aim to do through teaching.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, I enjoy learning new skills, video editing, exploring technology, and improving myself creatively and professionally. I also enjoy to playing cricket and discovering new educational and productivity tools.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One memorable experience was helping a student who initially lacked confidence in the subject because of the language barrier and was afraid to ask questions. After a few sessions focused on building understanding step by step, the student became much more confident and started performing better academically. Seeing that transformation reminded me why I enjoy teaching so much.
