I teach with a lot of student involvement and we break down key ideas to communicate them in a creative, engaging, communicable and memorable way.

I have achieved outstanding results with my students at A level and GCSE. I have been teaching for sixteen years and am an ex Head of English and Assistant Head Teacher. I teach at a range of state secondary schools, as well as at a top independent school. I tutor one to one and small groups. I also teach online. I work for Ofqual and AQA as an examiner for the new specifications.
My method of teaching is based on providing learning in a calm and positive atmosphere and supplying activities and teaching that will inspire and engage children so I am very interested in learning about a child/children's interests and what inspires them. I am a personable and approachable facilitator and believe that if I can have a good rapport with children then they will be willing to learn.
I make sure my student don't only love studying but also enjoys it. I m a bachelor degree holder. Teaching since 8 years. Love teaching and passionate about helping the students to achieve what they wish in life. Love making a friendly relation with the student so that communication between us is easy and smooth.
I am currently studying English in the IB Diploma alongside other subjects. Though my teaching style is adaptive to the student, I like to focus on an interactive approach. This includes the use of activities in the process to encourage students to learn with initiative.
I am a really patient teacher, and I try to make every session as fun as possible! I always try to find new ways to teach, and I also change my teaching method depending on the person I am in front of. I have a lot of tutoring experience and the fact that I still am a student makes it really easy for me to get along very good with the people I teach to.
I work with children aged 4-16 as well as adult learners. For each student, we will create action plans which outline the objectives for the half term and how we aim to achieve them. Lessons will be split half theory (teaching content) and the other half practical (i.e. do exam questions) unless you ask otherwise.
Can offer babysitting activities like painting or playing. Structure and patience. Let them have breaks, but make sure they have high efficiency. I try to make learning fun so that they don't get too stressed. I can also help with their homework.
Flexible approach to suit the students needs, my methods include using past paper practice, taking direct questions from the student, explaining new topics, reviewing old concepts as well as teaching tricks and shortcuts. I prepare students for Wandsworth Year 6 Tests.
Initially, lessons focus on identifying weakness and areas for growth. This allows me to create a lesson plan for the coming sessions, which I then discuss with the student and their guardians to ensure their approval of the plan. I have found that confidence is often at the root of students difficulties.
My teaching methods are unique. I am just really good at helping anyone learn. I base my lessons on the individual needs and tailor my teaching style accordingly. My lessons are fun, fast and relevant. I always draw on the student's interests and hobbies which is intrinsic to any learning pathway.
I haven a degree in Drama , Psychology and History . I carried on to achieve my teaching degree and then an MA in education . I love solving a problem and help students to find strategies to solve their own academic struggles or just to improve.
Young Spanish Primary Education teacher offering afterschool classes to Primary Education students. The methodology I usually use is "Learning by playing", I like students to discover things on their own, interactive classes, so that they can experiment and see the results by themselves.
Because my parents are Swedish and Danish and I grew up in the USA and France, I am well versed in the literary traditions of different cultures. I believe this sharpens my capacity to perceive ideas from fresh angles, see past the dialectic layers that discourse is often wrapped in. This aptitude has helped me convey ideas simply and engagingly in the past.
I am a BioAnthropology student currently studying at the University of Kent. My teaching style depends very much on the student. Personally I am more of a visual learner so I like to make my style more visual and interactive. I had experience in tutoring before and previously worked with NCS. I am more than happy to discuss any doubts and inquiries you may have so feel free to message me.
It is necessary to make each topic that I am teaching palatable to each individual student. I have found that the best way to learn is to make each subject more relatable to one's self and/or the students. Each lesson will begin with a standard clear description of the topic to be learned, after which the subject is broken down into segments.
- Understanding what you are trying to write, be it an essay, proposal, dissertation, or cover letter. - Dissecting what type of help you require and time scale. - Working on a case by case level with an understanding of either your academic field, ability, or any specific issues you are experiencing.
My sessions are for primary ages pupils or those working at this level. They are based around the learning styles, level and interests of the pupil. I prefer to use multi-sensory approach, incorporating concrete objects and activities to boost engagement and progress rather than textbook based sessions.
My approach is more practical than just pushing down the theories. I like to demonstrate the academic theories and try to build a connect with the day to day lives of children. I like to show visual illustrations and videos to make complex concepts more simple. I make my own simplified notes and pass them out to children for reference.
I appreciate that everyone learns in different ways. Some are quicker to grasp concepts than others and it highlights the fact of how important it is to differentiate between individuals. I base my classes on a general input into how I learnt to grasp specific concepts.
I believe in making memorable learning opportunities for all children I teach, I get to know all children really well and teach based on their needs and interests. I have taught forest schools and believe that learning can happen in all environments, including outdoors.
I find that the lessons which have the greatest impact on a child's memory, and therefore whole learning experience, are when there is clear and direct motivation in the topic of learning. I aim to centre my lessons around the interests of a pupil: if the stimulus is there, a child will embrace the challenges and skills that follow with open arms and an open mind.
I have lots of experience working with children and understand how different children can be from each other. I like to think I have a firm but fun approach, and that the children look forward to my company. Most importantly that the children feel safe.
I believe that with the right help and support everyone has the ability to reach their full potential.
Open to support preschool, primary, secondary and undergraduates (please ask for any questions) Various teaching styles-I am excellent at creating visual audio to kinaesthetic teaching, I believe regardless of age having a varied way of learning is most effective! So teaching using sound, imagery and movement.
My teaching method is a combination of Visual (Diagrams, Drawings, written material) and conversational particularly for those wanting to learn English. For younger children I try to incorporate the use of arts and crafts or props or a ‘class companion’. For students with struggles in learning I will assess and arrange a time to discuss how you have learnt best previously.
As i have previously stated, I like to get to the know children and find out what they personally enjoy and try to integrate that into their learning. I will do my very best to ensure that each and every child achieves their goals. I believe that children should learn through enjoyment which create learning experiences that they are much more likely going to enjoy and remember.
I'm a confident and out going person and i always aim to make teaching fun because at the end of the day learning new things should always be exciting - i aim to make each lesson have the perfect balance of challenging and enjoyment so you are always bettering yourself each time whilst remaining focused and motivated I believe in focusing your teaching to the individual - if someone is an...
