About Sean
My name is Sean, and I am a college student studying physics hoping to go into astronomy. Outside of academics I love to go hiking and spend time in the outdoors. I have had a passion for math and science my entire life, and have always been drawn to helping others. This is why I worked as a math tutor and also volunteered to help people with math throughout high school. My goal is to help my students improve their understanding of mathematics so that they have every chance to succeed.

I have trained in tutoring students in math at my previous job at Mathnasium and know how to create an effective learning plan for a student to best advance. In addition to walking students through lessons and problems I can also help students identify what areas they need additional help in.
My lessons will primarily focus on determining what part of a subject a student doesn't understand, working with the student to teach them the material in a way they understand, and working on problems for practice to ensure understanding and application of the concepts.
I primarily teach K-12, in anything from basic addition and subtraction to AP Calculus.
