About Faranak
From multiple discussion sessions at Columbia University to teaching high school students how to prepare their portfolio as a filmmaker or screenwriter, I believe in setting goals that are realistic and achievable and to check in with every student in every step of the process about how they feel about their learning experience. Communication and having realistic expectations while aiming for the stars has always helped me lead groups of students with success.

I’m passionate about teaching storytelling and can make writing so much easier than what it seems to be at first. I have been a writer since I was 10 years old and have taught writing and filmmaking to students ages 7 to 20. I believe that everyone is creative at heart and just needs to find the way to their pool of creative ideas.
