About Grace
I am a junior-level college student, and this writing process I utilize has helped me maintain a 4.0 GPA. I help prepare students to apply these skills to their current high school curriculum.
Class work loads can really be a lot. When you are assigned a million things to do, it is hard to know where to start. You are not alone, and I hope to be a resource for assistance.

Many college level courses are graded based on essay writing assignments rather than tests and quizzes. It is important for high school students to get a head start on their essay writing skills.
It can seem overwhelming to be assigned to write a multiple-paged essay (or report). It is not something that you can cram or study for like a test. This type of assignment is more personable and gives students an opportunity to actively apply their knowledge and skills.
Writing an essay is best done in a four step process. An outline, rough draft of first half, full rough draft, and, lastly, final draft. I structure my lessons to follow this process and focus on areas where the student needs aid. My approach is to guide and support, not control or hold back. For me, it is a great pride to turn in an essay or report that I feel confident about. I hope to pass that along to bright future college students.
