About Christy
I am a post graduate in Computer Science with specialization in AI and NLP. I am very much interested in Speech related research, in which I started something on myself during my masters degree while I studied Artificial Intelligence as my elective. And during my M.Phil. I took interest in learning speech related works and possibilities for doing something concrete. With the help of the instructor in phonetics, I learned about experimental phonetics and am currently working on a project related to prosody analysis of my mother tongue, Malayalam. The experience I gained through doing projects during Masters and MPhil. has given me the ability to adapt to change and work in a team. I have worked extensively on Praat and other software for speech analysis. I've found interest in the dialogue technology, especially in spoken dialogue systems.
