About Fikri
Hello, I am Fikri Hisham-muddin, a software engineer and recent Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) graduate from International Islamic University Malaysia, where I earned Dean's List recognition (CGPA 3.56). My practical experience includes serving as Lead Developer (Freelance) at Krypton Technologies, where I initiated the AG4U kindergarten management system. This comprehensive mobile, web, and backend platform achieved rapid adoption with over 1,000 active users within the first month of its November 2023 launch, streamlining administrative processes for schools and delivering real-time updates to parents.
I also completed a Mobile Engineer internship at Ant International, independently designing and delivering a currency exchange FX widget featuring real-time data, multi-language support (CN/EN/global), and seamless iOS/Android compatibility. Additional projects include leading Umroo's real-time WebSocket-powered mobile and web platform (200+ active users in the first month) and building tools like an AI message spam detector and a Next.js event platform for IIUM Mega Run.
I want to teach because my hands-on development of educational tools like AG4U and real-world applications has shown me the transformative power of accessible technology education. I am passionate about sharing practical skills in mobile/web development (Flutter, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Next.js, React Native, WebSocket, etc.), problem-solving, and best practices to help students build confidence, avoid common pitfalls, and succeed in the tech industry.
