About Jack
With 8+ years of professional teaching experience, I am a dedicated Saxophone tutor who has guided approximately 150 students through their musical journey. I teach students of all levels and aim to make learning the saxophone clear, enjoyable, and rewarding.
My tutoring style is structured, patient, and adaptable. I design lesson plans that suit individual learning needs while ensuring consistent improvement. I believe a supportive learning environment helps students stay motivated and confident.
I place strong emphasis on saxophone basics such as embouchure, breath support, tone quality, posture, finger technique, and timing. As students advance, I help them develop musical interpretation, phrasing, and improvisation skills.
In addition to performance training, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and rhythm studies. My goal is to help students grow into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through the saxophone.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone is based on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to help students develop strong technical skills and expressive musicality. I begin with posture, breath control, embouchure formation, and tone production.
I explain each concept clearly and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure effective practice. Lessons include scales, articulation drills, rhythm exercises, and performance pieces that develop both skill and musical expression. Weekly structured goals and practice schedules maintain accountability and consistent improvement.
I provide honest feedback to guide progress. Integrity ensures students build correct habits and long-term musical growth. In addition to Saxophone, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Improvisation fundamentals.
