Enhancing English Skills with a Focus on Creative and Technical Writing.
Objective:
Students will improve their English language skills through a blend of creative and technical writing practices. Depending on what the students wants to learn, classes are specific to the student. I work with each individual student enduring their goals are met, whether they are preparing for standardized tests such as IELTS and CELPIP or want to gain insights into poetry and storytelling. I will evaluate students' participation and written work while providing constructive feedback to guide further improvement .By integrating creative and technical writing with test preparation, this lesson plan aims to develop well-rounded English skills and inspire a deeper appreciation for the craft of writing.
Creative Writing Focus
Activities: Writing prompts and storytelling exercises.
Objective: Enhance narrative skills and creative expression.
Method: Students will respond to prompts and share their stories. Discuss narrative structure, character development, and stylistic techniques.
Technical Writing Skills
Activity: Analyzing technical writing samples and exercises
Objective: Develop clarity, conciseness, and precision in writing.
Method: Review examples of technical writing, then complete a related exercise focusing on clear communication.
IELTS/CELPIP Preparation
Activity: Practice test questions and strategies
Objective: Improve test-taking skills and writing techniques for standardized exams.
