About Alexis
My name is Alexis and I am an active college student. My intentions are to graduate in 2025 with a bachelors degree in Communications and interpretation; I am to become a ASL interpreter. This career path actually makes me an excellent English tutor. To be able to interpret American Sign Language effectively, I need excellent fluency and grammatical understanding of English. Furthermore, I just love it. I love reading, writing, and analyzing text. So many people struggle with English, especially our visual learners. I’m here to tell you that’s ok! I want to prove to you that you can do it, regardless of your learning style or difficulties.

As a tutor I am goal focused. I work with my students and their parents to set goals that we will exceed over time. My methods to tutoring are specific to each student. Our initial consultation will find out what kind of learner you are and what methods work best for you! I then create a plan I believe best suits your academic style and needs. These lessons are best suited for students kindergarten through 9th grade.
