K–12 Math Tutor | Algebra & SAT/ACT Prep
I’m an experienced online math tutor with two years of experience helping K–12 students build confidence, strengthen core skills, and improve their performance in school and on standardized tests. I specialize in algebra and SAT/ACT math preparation.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student. I start by identifying where they feel stuck, then break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. Rather than simply giving answers, I help students understand the “why” behind each method so they can solve similar problems independently.
A typical lesson includes a quick review of past material, guided practice on current topics or homework, targeted instruction on challenging concepts, and a short recap with goals for the next session. For SAT and ACT students, I also incorporate test-taking strategies, pacing practice, and review of common question types.
Lessons are available for elementary, middle school, and high school students, including support in general math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and test preparation for the SAT and ACT. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying ahead, or preparing for an important exam, I’m here to help them succeed.
