About Eithne
Hi! I'm Eithne and I am a friendly face that is here to help you with your A-levels. I am approachable, patient, and organised, but most of all I'm enthusiastic about psychology.
I believe that anyone can achieve great grades with the right guidance and consistent practice.
I achieved an A in A-Level Psychology and have gone on to study Psychology BSc at Cardiff University, where I have developed a deeper understanding of research methods, ethical considerations, and theoretical debates.
I am up to date with the latest AQA specification changes, examiner reports, and marking schemes, so I can make sure we know exactly what examiners are looking for. I hope to make you feel more confident walking into each and every exam!

About the lesson

Whether you're just starting the course, struggling with research methods, or aiming for an A/A* in your final exams, I will work individually with each student to help you gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
I offer 60 minute sessions as standard, as this is enough time to cover a topic in depth and apply it to exam-style questions. I also offer 90 minute sessions for essay practice, revision marathons, or tackling tricky areas like biopsychology and statistical tests if you have an upcoming exam.
Lessons are usually tailored to the AQA specification, so nothing is wasted. This includes retrieval practice, concept breakdown, application focus, essay technique, research methods mastery, past paper practice, and so much more.
I adapt the pace of the lesson to each student to ensure their weaker topics are covered more thoroughly, and exam technique is strengthened.
I achieved an A in psychology at A-level, and am currently working at a First standard at university.
