About Ruby
Hey, I'm Ruby and I'm a student at Cardiff University. I have loved my Psychology degree so far and am looking forward to a professional placement in the future. I’m comfortable chatting and getting to know all sorts of people. Over the last year, I’ve really enjoyed netball training and matches with friends from my course, going on runs, and grabbing coffee with friends. I think I have a good balance between university and my social life, and being organised with my studies. I believe there is great value in effective revision in order to ensure work life-balance. I enjoy studying and hope I could encourage you to find the same satisfaction in a tutoring session with me.

I am offering tutoring sessions for Psychology for GCSE and A-Level students. I will ensure our sessions feel relaxed and can be flexible to your availability.
I believe goal setting within revision is useful in measuring progress and staying on track with learning and revisiting content. This will ensure you can get the most out of our sessions. I aim to remove the stress of revision with my strong organisational skills. A session typically would start with a quick recap of previous learning to ensure consolidation. I like to focus on active recall and exam question practise as these work best for me. I am open to alternative techniques that will best suit my students as well.
I have been DBS checked and have experience running sports groups with young adults. I am passionate about Psychology and want to encourage others to find enjoyment in it too.
