About Leanda
I teach maths because I am genuinely passionate about problem-solving and possess a data-driven mindset. It has always been my favourite subject because it proves that every complex project has a solution. Nothing matches the immense satisfaction of finally cracking a tough problem, and my ultimate goal is to help my future students experience that exact same feeling of breakthrough and success.

In my lessons, I prioritise creating a comfortable, supportive environment where students feel confident to learn. I specialise in breaking down complex mathematical concepts into simple, step-by-step solutions. To maximise engagement and retention, I use an interactive whiteboard with distinct colour-coded markers to visually separate problem-solving steps. My lessons combine 'blurting' techniques for active formula recall, practical example modelling, and timed practice sessions to build both accuracy and exam-room speed.
