About Latisha
I want to teach students English Literature as I’ve always loved English as a subject at school and despite not choosing it as a subject in further education, having a strong academic background in English really helped me to achieve the position I have at university today. Acknowledging the importance of good writing and analytical skills which English gives you, it would be a privilege to help other students also develop these skills to the best of their abilities. As I am also a student I believe I have an idea of how people learn so will be able to implement this in my teaching.

Sessions would be for Secondary school students doing their GCSEs. They would run for an hour and teaching would have an approach preferred by the student - whether they have questions or concerns in specific areas which they ask during the session or would like planned sessions going through content and exam technique (or even both combined). I have prior experience tutoring english literature, english language, public speaking and debating to a range of students from 11+, primary and secondary school as well as achieving 9s in both English Literature and Language at GCSEs myself.
