I like to keep my lessons interactive, starting off by asking if there is anything in particular the student is struggling with in GCSE's/A-levels. I believe the best way to take in and retain knowledge is by 10 minutes of learning the theory, followed by another 10 minutes of applying it in practice questions. Theory and questions will get increasingly harder to ensure understanding of the topic and challenge the student. Any gaps in knowledge through this method will be easily identified and targeted - making for an effective session.
I am currently completing a 4 year degree apprenticeship after finishing my A-levels in 2018. However, I also play the guitar and often act as well - hence I have a broad range of skills which I believe can make me a well-rounded tutor!
