Hi! I have a passion for physics and for communicating it to others. I would love to tutor GCSE and A level Physics and Maths. My lessons will be structured according to the student: I can help you with your homework, or I can explain the syllabus content in more exciting visual ways.
My teaching methodology requires an initial thorough understanding of subject matter, an excellent study space and a keen mind. These three qualities embody the necessities to develop a stubborn rigour as a student .
I prefer to teach personally(not online), but can in both categories. I have my teaching method. I based in on my personal experience. The student must be interested in learning. It's the most important thing. The student should know why he teaches and what he teaches. For younger children, study should be presented in a fun and entertaining way.
My teaching method is to understand need of my students and provide possible options/ solutions so they can implement too.
My aim is always to make sure the student understands, different people understand at different rates and i am there to help and aid the student always. i can help the student understand as i have been helping student who struggled before so i kind of know how to approach the student in a way to make the mathematical questions seem simple and easy.
I am a Teacher of Physics. I have a MPys in Physics from The University of Leicester and a Physics with Maths PGCE from The University of Nottingham. I deliver combined science up to KS4 and Physics to A-Level. I also have experience of delivering maths up to KS4. I have a calm and relaxed manner. I am keen to help you improve in your subject.
I have full knowledge of the Maths curriculum and have been through the process myself from GCSE Maths, A-Level Maths and Degree level Maths in my Undergraduate degree. Therefore, I am very complaint to tutor Maths and Physics to the standard of GCSE from primary level. My priority is to build rapport with the student and ensure the student achieves their maximum capability.
I structure my teaching around the student's syllabus, ensuring each topic is covered in detail to achieve the best possible result.
I am a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and teach Mathematics , Phyiscs and Mechanical Engineering from early years Secondaryry Education level to A Level / Higher BTEC level. I am flexible in terms of my teaching approach and style to meet students needs and requirements. I am happy to work evenings and most weekends.
I ask in advance to the student what is the topic that needs to be covered in the next lesson in order to prepare the lesson in advance. I provide a theoretical explanation of the subject followed up by practical examples and exercises.
First, in my opinion, it is important to fix an objective (passing an exam, improving your knowledge in a specific field, etc.) Secondly, I believe that learning should be and can be fun - the lessons should be always adapted to the interests of the student. Finally, the lessons should be clear and the tutor should be able to explain everything in detail.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach SATS Science, GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Biology AS level. - Tell me about your qualifications. Food Science BSc, Secondary science PGCE (Teacher Training). I graduated from Reading University with a food science degree followed by a teacher training course (PGCE).
I found learning by example was most effective for me at school. After explaining the basic principles of the topic, I go through various examples that increase with difficulty. I highlight the part of the question that makes it harder than the previous example and explain how to tackle a problem of this format. As a recent student, I understand how important it is to be able to ask for help.
I use different ways of tutoring to suit my tutee's learning styles and prepare thoroughly. I believe that encouragement is key and am very supportive. I feel that all students can achieve with the right guidance, appoach and attitude. I do not give up easily and and willing to always give the best of my ability to the job in hand.
I have worked as a tutor and mentor throughout my career. I have a passion for supporting individuals to reach their potential. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach both Physics and Maths at all secondary levels up to and including A-Level - Tell me about your qualifications.
I like to teach what I'm sure I know, so although I have A-level knowledge of chemistry and maths, I only feel comfortable teaching up to GCSE level because I'm confident that I'll have all of the answers. I structure my lessons to first make sure the student first has a good understanding of why things work before teaching how they work.
I am happy to give lessons at any level from those completing GCSEs to finishing their first year at university. When teaching physics I am a firm believer in problem based learning and aim to use examples to illuminate any key concepts whenever possible.
I am a full-time independent private tutor. I am a retired teacher of physics and mathematics, and have worked as a private tutor since retirement. I call myself Christine's Maths & Physics Tuition. I tutor because I love doing it.
Hello. I have plenty of experience of tailoring and adapting maths & science tutor sessions to individuals, am friendly and like to get the best out of my tutees in an informal but effective atmoshpere.
I am careful to understand the needs of individual students; taking time to find out about how they prefer to work and establishing learning techniques that help them. I am keen that students engage with the curriculum in a way that enables them to understand the wider context/relevance of it.
My teaching method is one to one or teaching to a group of small size (max. upto 8-10 students). The idea of teaching is : 1. To know and give attention the individual student and their learn-ability. 2. Give first free classes (2-5 classes) and understand the subject and university requirements. 3. Build a teaching strategy, give a separate exercise to every individual student. 4.
i will get students to make a list of the topics they are struggling with then i can look through any notes i have which may be relevant. After that i will create a section of questions relating to the topics for exam revision and help them with the topics aswell.
I am a science teacher with many years experience of teaching in schools but also lecturing at University level. At Key stage 3 and 4 I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics. At A level I teach Chemistry and Biology. - Tell me about your qualifications.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? Maths and Physics mainly. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am now an PhD student in the School of Geography at the University of Nottingham. - How much do you charge? 20 pounds/hour. - Where do you teach? I prefer to teach at my place home, but teaching at students' homes is also fine by me. - When are you available? The weekends are best for me.
Hi! I'm currently an undergraduate studying Mathematics and I believe that tutoring should not only be beneficial to getting better grades but also be fun! - Which subject(s) do you teach? Mathematics, Physics, Italian, Business Studies and Science - Tell me about your qualifications. I am an undergraduate student studying Mathematics at a Russell Group university.
A very friendly an engaging tutor looking to help pupils raise their grades from a C-to an A/A*. Teach by example to help engage pupils in the subject, helping them get over the especially challenging topics they struggle with. Looking forward to helping you secure the future you deserve.
I am a first year Egyptian teacher who loves math and willing to teach it to anyone even for free.
My teaching method is first to evaluate the level of the student. Secondly, give the basics of each topic and make funny practice lessons increasing the level of difficulty as the student boost their knowledge. Finally we face real problems to give an application to the knowledge that they got.
My classes are based on any needs: calculations, academic tutoring, lab reports, etc. My aim is to relate the material and its problems to real world to better understand the subject.
I like to use analogies to explain concepts. Visual diagrams and practise exam questions to apply knowledge further are my main strategies.
