About Kristin
I have a math (4.0) and computer science (3.9) degree from San Francisco State University.
In 1995, I got my first job at a software company as a tech support engineer. I assumed I would become a software developer but soon discovered the greatest reward in interacting with customers and helping them solve their problems.
In 2011, I published "Being Human is Good Business" for A List Apart and it went viral It was my math education that taught me how to think and problem solve.

If there is anything that I have learned about tutoring math it is that every individual has their own learning style.
The key to a successful outcome is getting to know the student first, and making sure that they are comfortable working with me. I make it a point to learn their passions in life and discover how they feel about math.
I dedicate our sessions to completing their assignments with them or providing the necessary tools to do it on their own. And together we will make math fun!!
