About Daniel

Following my undergraduate degree I was a classroom teacher and the main school accompanist in an independent school, where I coached many students 1:1 ahead of their practical ABRSM exams and academically (GCSE and IB). I have taught and coached music privately throughout my career.

About the lesson

Some students have come to me with a specific target to which I adapt my teaching style in order to help them achieve their aim. Lessons will develop your knowledge of and exposure to appropriate repertoire, building finger strength through technical practise, and other skills such as sight-reading, aural, and transposition, as required. Absolute beginners will be taken through an introductory course that includes basic notation and harmony.
