About Henni
Hey there! I'm Henrietta, and I love helping students build confidence in their writing and develop the critical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. I've always had a passion for reading and literature, which sparked my interest in English and ultimately helped me develop the analytical and communication skills I use both academically and professionally today.
I hold a 2:1 degree in International Politics, achieved A* grades in GCSE English Language and English Literature, and currently work as a Data Governance Analyst. My professional role centres around analysing information, asking the right questions, and communicating complex ideas clearly, all skills that I bring into my tutoring.
I've had tutoring and mentoring experience since sixth form, supporting GCSE students, tutoring online during COVID-19, and mentoring students throughout university. I take a patient and encouraging approach, creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their ideas, and building confidence in their abilities.
Whether you're looking to improve your English grades, strengthen your essay writing, or become a more confident critical thinker, I'm here to help you achieve your goals.

Welcome, it is great to have you!
If you're looking for support with KS3 or GCSE English, essay writing, or critical thinking skills, I'd love to help.
My lessons are tailored to each student and focus on building confidence, improving writing skills, and developing the ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly. As a Data Governance Analyst with a 2:1 degree in International Politics, I bring a unique analytical approach to my teaching, helping students understand not just what to write, but why.
I teach English Language, English Literature, essay writing, exam technique, comprehension, and critical analysis. Lessons are available online or in person across Greater London and are delivered on a one-to-one basis, typically lasting one hour.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and engaging. I break down challenging topics into manageable steps and encourage students to ask questions, build confidence, and develop independent thinking. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or become a stronger writer, lessons are tailored to your goals.
I achieved A* grades in both GCSE English Language and English Literature and have experience tutoring online, mentoring GCSE students during sixth form, and supporting students throughout university. I also regularly help others with applications and academic writing, giving me extensive experience in effective written communication.
My goal is simple: to help students become confident writers, independent thinkers, and successful learners.
