About Nicole

I’m a full-time graphic designer with 8 years of working experience with national brands and startups alike. From social media to web design, I bring a strategic, creative approach to every project—and I love helping others build real, confidence-driven design skills.

About the lesson

Intro to Graphic Design: Build Confidence and Create Like a Pro

In our first lesson, we’ll break the ice, chat about your creative goals, and start building your foundation in graphic design. Whether you’re brand new to design or looking to sharpen your skills, this session is tailored just for you.

We’ll cover:

What graphic design actually is (spoiler: it’s more than just making things pretty)

An intro to key design principles (think hierarchy, alignment, contrast, and balance)

A walkthrough of the tools you’ll need (like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma—depending on your goals)

A hands-on mini project or exercise based on your interests (because learning by doing is where the magic happens)

By the end of our first lesson, you’ll walk away with:

A better understanding of how to think like a designer

Clear next steps for what to learn and practice

A mini design project to kick off your portfolio (or just boost your confidence)

No need to have any prior experience—just bring your curiosity, and I’ll guide you from there.
