About Marilyn
I am currently a Design and Cinema & Digital Media double major at the University of California Davis. I have previously worked with students by volunteering as a teacher's aid for elementary schools. As well as being an ambassador for high school and incoming college students. In my free time, I am actively creating art and experimenting with new mediums and techniques. I have taken a range of art classes, whether it is geared towards fine arts or design. I also received a perfect score on the Advanced Placement Studio Art Exam.

Although I am attending university, I often help aid and teach those around me with art and techniques they can use to create their own art. I do not have a preference in the level of skill someone has with art, as long as they are enthusiastic to learn and gain new skills I am more than happy to help. I believe that as someone who also enjoys creating art it is good to push and motivate students to create art how they visualize it rather than imposing your own beliefs onto their art. Finding ways to help improve a student's work without removing their creativity is important because it encourages excitement to create and improve.
