About Kate
I completed my undergraduate degree in the History of Art at the University of St Andrews (1st class hons) (2011-2015), and my MA in Art Theory at UCL (Distinction) (2015-2016). I am in the process of submitting my PhD thesis in contemporary art (2020). Throughout my academic career I have worked as a research assistant for a number of artists, private contemporary art galleries and collections.

By creating a space to share experiences of art and its histories, I encourage my students to develop strategies for reading, analysing and sharing images from around the world. I teach students of all ages and abilities and would be delighted to develop a course to suit your specific interests or requirements.

Perfect! I’ve been working with Kate for at least 10 hours and I would say she is one of the best tutors I’ve ever met! Im doing MA in history of arts. She helped me with my class materials, presentations and essays. Sessions with her were fun and enriched. She always explains theories clearly and provides extra informations. Sadly the Covid happens. Would love to meet her when I come back to London!
- Chris is an excellent student who shows fantastic research potential. It is a pleasure to work with her.Kate's response :
