About Caroline
I am a Durham University graduate, with a first in Classical Civilisations, BA. I also have an MFA in Creative Writing from City, University of London (with Distinction). I am the author of a psychological thriller and am currently writing the pilot for my first TV show, whilst also working on my second novel.
My particular interest and expertise is in Greek and Roman epic and Greek Tragedy. I also sat GCSE and A Level Classical Civilisations gaining A* and A.
I love writing, reading, poetry, the theatre, art, architecture and music.

I am a first class honours graduate in Classical Civilisations from Durham University, with particular expertise in Greek tragedy (my dissertation, which received a first, was on Sophoclean plays), Greek and Roman epic and other ancient literature such as Augustan poetry.
Whether you want to learn about Homer or Vergil for fun, or to sit an exam, I can tailor classes to get the most out of your lessons.
Having sat GCSE and A Level Classics myself, I have a good understanding of the techniques needed to succeed in these exams, but can also help with more general understanding and improving of knowledge surrounding the Classical world through its literature.
I have an immense love for the ancient world, and I am sure I can infuse you with my enthusiasm for this subject!
