  • 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. However, during my final years of study, Lebanon experienced a severe economic crisis that affected nearly every aspect of daily life. Witnessing these events firsthand sparked my curiosity about the economic forces shaping society and people's livelihoods. I wanted to understand why such crises occur, how they affect individuals and communities, and what policies can help address them. This interest led me to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Economics and later a Ph.D. in Economics, where I continue to study important questions related to education, labor markets, and economic development.
  • 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

What I love most about economics is its ability to explain human behavior and provide evidence-based solutions to social and economic challenges. I am particularly interested in education and labor economics because they directly affect people's opportunities and quality of life. I also enjoy the analytical side of economics, where mathematics, statistics, and critical thinking come together to answer meaningful questions.
  • 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

Tutoring allows me to share my knowledge while helping students build confidence in their abilities. I understand that subjects such as economics, statistics, and mathematics can seem intimidating at first, so I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive explanations. What makes me a "Superprof" is my ability to adapt to each student's learning style, my patience, and my commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. Seeing students progress and gain confidence is the most rewarding part of teaching.
  • 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been fortunate to learn from professors who combined academic excellence with genuine care for their students. They inspired me not only through their knowledge but also through their dedication to mentoring and supporting others. Their ability to make complex ideas accessible and to encourage students to think critically has greatly influenced my own approach to teaching.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

My keys to success are discipline, consistency, and curiosity. Success is rarely achieved overnight; it comes from setting clear goals and making steady progress every day. I believe in staying organized, working hard, and maintaining a positive attitude when facing challenges. I also believe that learning is a lifelong process, and being open to new ideas and continuous improvement has helped me grow both academically and personally.
