About Olivia
Hi! My name is Olivia. I studied at Medicine Hat College as an Education major and had a love for English and Humanities courses. These are some of my favorite subjects to teach because I believe they help us to not only understand the world around us, but to understand ourselves a bit better too. I love to learn, so when I teach and see my students starting to find their individual style of learning, and becoming more encouraged and excited to learn it brings me great joy! I want to cultivate a learning environment that meets my students where they're at, and helps them thrive.

I am a believer in life long learning and using creative solutions. My students can expect me to teach in a way that is catered to their individual learning needs, as there is no right way to learn. My lesson plans will involve different approaches to grasp the lessons objective. Rather than all written work, there will be finding novels students connect with, projects, new ways to explore individual style of writing. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I love what I teach so I bring passion and drive into all of my lessons. I believe everyone should have an opportunity to love their learning. I teach Language Arts/English to all grades.
