I am a young professional and aspiring professor/researcher in the field of educational psychology, and my plan is to create an innovative and encouraging learning environment that can accommodate every type of learner. I believe it is important to allow students to engage in higher education through an accord that is most comfortable for their way of learning. Students retain not only educational information, but the essence that makes education valuable and transcendent. It’s this very essence that I plan to make a key priority as an instructor, and provide my students with the opportunity to take full control of their learning experience, and exert their full potential.
I have been and educator and consultant for youth and adolescents with psychological and cognitive challenges, for four years. My experiences span from undergraduates with dyslexia, to adolescents in foster care suffering from various forms of trauma and cognitive delays. I created personalized education and intervention based plans for clients that had goals to progress their education, resulting in the transcendence of adolescents into college, and undergraduates into bachelor's degree recipients.
My scaled rate value for a pack of hours is set based on the content of the lesson, and specific student needs as it relates to the material.
